It's not by chance that Young Life camps are in some of the most spectacular settings across North America and around the world. Young Life intentionally selects locations that reflect God's grandeur in creation.
High-adventure activities at camp allow kids to be kids and encourage interaction between leaders and kids. Kids and leaders can enjoy the giant swing, ropes course, blob, mountain bikes, horses, wakeboarding and zip lines. These shared adventures help to break down relational barriers and allow leaders to speak into kids' lives.
Perhaps the best hour of every day at camp is club. Through the intentional use of music, appropriate humor and thought-provoking messages, club is a crucial element that leads to a camper's opportunity to consider a relationship with Christ. Young Life's desire is that kids' hearts will be captivated by the message of hope that can be found in a personal relationship with Christ.
All camps share a common purpose: creating an environment where Young Life staff bring Christ to life by creatively presenting the complete Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through a progression of carefully planned messages, camp speakers communicate the Gospel with a winsome spirit and in relevant terms that are appealing to teenagers. Speaking clearly from the Scriptures, camp speakers introduce kids to the person of Christ, the nature of humanity, the work of Christ on the cross, the hope of the resurrection and the opportunity for reconciliation with God.
