Incident Reports

A 2013 study published in the Journal of Applied Research on Children (JARC): Informing Policy for Children at Risk found a rate of .50 injuries per 1,000 camper-days (meaning one camper on one day of camp) at resident camps. Using this as a reference point, Young Life gathered data on injuries at our camps and found that between 2010 and 2016, injury rates were well below those at the camps cited in the JARC report.
